Erika Emerén is a Swedish artist living in the Netherlands. She got her Master of Fine Arts from Eindhoven Design Academy.
Erika was born in a rural area in Sweden. In her childhood, self-making tools and repairing damaged furniture were part of her growth. Influenced by craftsmanship of doing everything by oneself, combined with interest in cross-over art, she tries to reshape the presentation form of traditional folk-art.
