Willy’s works are simple and generous, with bright colors and flexible use of geometric elements such as lines and squares. His most representative straight bowl is as thin as an eggshell. After being baptized by the kiln fire, light can easily pass through its delicate structure. The fragile appearance can't help but make viewers question that porcelain clay has such an incredible texture. Geometric patterns have been loved by people since ancient times because of their simple, bright, and highly decorative features. When you mention geometry, does terrible mathematics immediately appear in your mind? When geometry and lines are integrated into ceramic creation, you will find that you have fallen in love with geometry ever since! Willy's works often use four geometric elements: lines, circles, squares, and triangles. For the use of geometric elements and colors, Willy has reached a near-perfect state. Willy uses his own concise way to match the blunt geometric lines with bright colors, giving new ideas to the straight tube and bowl shape that are common in daily life.
